Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Mahale Mountains National Park
You will be picked from your hotel in Arusha, and transferred to Arusha airport for departure flight to Mahale Mountains National Park. You guide will pick you up on arrival and served the lunch at the camp. Shortly after you will proceed for chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Dinner and overnight are your selected accommodation.
Day 2-3: Chimpanzee Trekking
These two days are reserved for chimpanzee trekking in the forest, starting after. You will visit waterfalls inside the park, go birding watching, and in the evenings swim in the Lake Tanganyika, followed by a bonfire on the beach. Meals and overnight will be at your selected accommodation.
Day 4: Mahale – Arusha
In the morning you will have breakfast, followed by transfer to Mahale airstrip for departure by shared charter flight back to Arusha. Our representative will meet you here for assistance to connect onward for an international flight or drive to your hotel.
